Almost everything happens here in the building on Lavender Hill, from routine consultations to dentistry, surgery and imaging.
We have a dedicated sterile theatre for operations which is kept at a higher temperature than the rest of the practice. This helps to speed up patients’ recovery from the anaesthetic. We have an extensive range of surgical equipment and can perform most procedures here. If more advanced surgical procedures are required, we can arrange for specialist Orthopaedic surgeons, Eye Specialists and Cardiologists to come to the practice to treat your pet.
Our preparation room houses our X-ray facilities and dental equipment. We have a new general X-ray machine that produces high-quality images to aid in diagnosis. Our dental X-ray machine is essential for assessing teeth during dental surgery.
Our in-house laboratory includes a microscope, facilities for analysing urine, and blood testing machines that allow for immediate blood analysis.
Both hospitalisation wards have piped oxygen available for very sick patients. Our kennels are stainless steel so that sterilisation can be carried out effectively. All in-patients have warm blankets or vet beds to make them comfortable, with ambient lighting and classical music to help calm the anxious patients.
We offer K Laser Therapy, a treatment that delivers specific wavelengths and frequencies of laser light to produce a therapeutic effect on the body. Effects can include increased circulation, decreased swelling, reduction of pain and enhanced tissue repair.
We provide in-house ultrasound scans of the abdomen and chest, as well as pregnancy scans.
Our ECG and blood pressure monitors are essential for detection of abnormal heart rhythms and both high and low blood pressure. Early detection of high blood pressure can help to prevent irreversible damage to the kidneys, eyes and brain.
We are happy to show new clients around the building when you bring your pet in for the first appointment.
